General Rates
Playa Del Carmen
Van up to 12 passengers, from $165 USD roundtrip

At The Riviera Maya Yacht Rentals we understand that the current situation regarding COVID-19 can cause unexpected changes to your travel plans.
Therefore we offer a 100% refund for cancellations due to COVID-19, as long as it is duly justified.
Justification must be made by a certified laboratory test where the holder, or any of the persons traveling (registered at the time of booking) send valid proof, which will be subject to verification.
Notification must be received at least 24 hours prior to the experience.
The certified laboratory test indicating a positive result must be in the name of the person who made the reservation. If there are other passengers who are still able to take the experience, no refund will apply.
Changes and/or cancellations by airlines due to COVID-19 must be notified and justified at least 24 hours before departure.
Changes or Modifications to your booking: If you need to change by adding or reducing people on your tour we require 5 days advance notice, to remove them from the tour and or to add them to the food and beverage order. Less than 3 days we cannot and will not add or detract from your booking.
* REFUNDS
The following restrictions apply for cancellations made by you as a client.
– Up to 14 days before charter, 10% penalty on the total tour value.
– Less than 14 days prior to charter, deposit is now non-refundable.
In case of bad weather, you will be advised by our staff in advance of your tour regarding the weather.
In some cases your tour may be canceled by the port or captain due to high winds, rough seas or heavy rain. If this happens you may change the date or cancel the tour without penalty.
Our Port Captain is the first official authority to make a weather call on safety. Our Captain is who commands on the vessels and also make make a weather call.
In the case of cloudy weather and / or light rain there is no reason for cancellation, the tropics has variable weather patterns, it may rain next to you and not on you, or it may rain for two hours and then pass thru. and all cancellations of tours are only decided by our captains and the port caption of the marina. The client agrees to these cancelation terms.

PRICE CHANGES: Our prices on unbooked items such as extra people, transportation, food upgrades and even boats will change. We will be happy to requote any items not booked in your original booking at the current rate. We will not hold any rate except by express written agreement with our sales manager.
Client accepts full personal liability for any accident, illness, or inquiry sustained to him/her or any member of the group. releasing Riviera Maya Catamarans from any liability.
Our boats do not allow, hookahs or any open flame smoking instruments. We do not allow any illegal substances to be consumed, smoked, or ingested while on board. If you disregard any of these policies you forfeit the tour and any refund and will be returned to the dock.
Violence. We have a 100% no violence policy This includes verbal threats of violence or harm. The safety of our captain, crew, and clients are 100% the most important policy to us. If anyone breaks the policy of violence on board our vessels we will immediately terminate the tour without notification or consultation and we will return to port where such actions may result in contacting the legal authorities.

Before boarding, a credit card block of $300 will be made as a deposit of security and will be unlocked via system at the end of the trip.
Such blocking will only be charged for damages to the boat or its accessories derived from the misuse or negligence of any of the passengers.
Cancellations
Weather conditions such as rain, wind or cloudy, are not a reason or justification for cancellation from the trip.
Cancellations due to weather are the sole decision of the captain, and the customer will be notify via email or phone before the tour begins.
If the cancellation is due to risky weather conditions and cannot reschedule for another date, full refund will be made to the customer.
Not causing cancellation or refund:
The weather: if it starts to rain, if it gets cloudy, if it is hot or cold, if there are lightning, if there is too much wind and waves, you cannot do the snorkeling activity.
The weather in the Caribbean changes a lot.
Even if they observe the weather forecast and indicate cloudy day, with winds, or rain, don’t worry!

Refund policy for customer cancellation
If the cancellation is more than 30 days prior to the experience, 80% will be refunded. If the cancellation is between 15 and 30 days prior to the experience, 50% will be refunded. If the cancellation is less than 15 days prior to the experience, there will be no refund.
If the client does not show up on the day of travel, we will charge 100% of the tour and there will be no refund or changes.
If the client is late at the indicated check-in and boarding time, the lost time will not be will not replace or be refunded. The tour starts on time and ends on time. In case the client wishes to reschedule the activity, they may reschedule or change the date up to 12 hours before the tour with a 30% penalty plus the price update.
Any violation of these points can be cancellation of the trip without the right to any type of refund:
Any change in dates, destination or yacht type from is considered a cancellation. If any scheduled payment by client has not been received by the payment due date, we reserve the right to cancel the charter and retain all deposits and fees paid to date.

WEATHER :
In case of bad weather, you will be advised by our staff in advance of your tour.
We are in the tropics, so the weather patterns can change and are very isolated.
It is common to rain in one town and not the next.
It is common to have rain pass thru in 20 minutes.
It is also common to see a rain cloud on the ocean and have no other area be rainy.
In the case of cloudy weather and / or light rain there is no reason for cancellation, all cancellations of tours are only decided by our captains and the port captain of the marina. The client agrees to these cancelation terms.

We highly suggest travel insurance. We do not currently offer it, but in most occasions where you cannot travel, they will pay you back your deposit or your payment in full, if you are unable to make your trip.
Is it a special occasion?
We offer celebration package upgrades.
Custom cakes, champagne, sparkling wine, banner, and or balloons. Just ask!
We have two ways you can book your boat.
1) The first and most common way is we create a booking form and send you over a deposit link.
2) We take your payment over the phone.
Final Tour Balances are paid on site at the dock.
The final payment can be paid in USD, Cash App at no extra fee
We accept credit card plus 5%
We do not allow count changes with less than 3 days notice, due to staffing, catering and logistics. Dock fee will be adjusted at the dock only to match the amount of people boarding.
Tip is not included in your booking. The standard tip is a minimum of 10% of the boat for the boat crew. 15% to 20% if the service is good or excellent.
Vans and Transportation: This is a 3rd party service. Tips are not shared with the boat crew. Please tip separately.
Children of all ages are allowed on our boats.
PLEASE let us know the ages of the children to allow for us to make sure we have life vests.
Infants and Toddlers : We do not have infant life vests as their sizes vary so much. Please bring your own if your children are under the age of 4-5 years old.
Please bring towels if you’re boarding the 40ft. Sea Ray. Otherwise, all other yachts include towels.
Most vessels do not allow clients to bring alcohol aboard. Please ask in advance to bring alcohol.
Food: You may bring chips or other closed bag snacks. We do not allow restaurant food or outside catered food aboard our vessels as we cannot control the quality of the food.
No open flame is allowed aboard. No illegal substances are allowed aboard.
Failure to abide by these rules will result in termination of the tour with no refund.
We must have your final count 3 days prior to the tour to coordinate all the logistics involved: food, staff, alcohol, transportation.
We will modify our federal dock fee to match those that board.
We cannot add or discount people from your final bill onsite.
If you have additional people please contact us immediately.
If you attempt to bring extra people to the boat, we reserve the right to not allow them to board the vessel.
We will ask numerous times if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions.
On our boats we will modify the existing menu to make vegan, or vegetarian appropriate options. If your guests want special or additional food this can be provided at an additional cost.
Please do not be shy about telling us your dietary needs. We welcome all groups
In the case of Kosher needs, some of our vessels can provide Kosher food at an additional cost.
